Direct Primary Care
(DPC)
Healthcare the way it should be — personal, relationship-based, and centered on YOU.
With DPC, you have a doctor who takes the time to really get to know you, listens to your concerns, and partners with you to reach your health goals.
Whether you’re managing a chronic condition, navigating a new health concern, or simply focusing on staying well, DPC offers consistent access, meaningful connection, and a thoughtful approach to your care.
A DPC membership includes management of most everyday health needs: annual physicals, preventative care, chronic condition management (such as high blood pressure, depression, or diabetes), minor procedures, sick visits, and coordination of specialty care when needed.
It’s comprehensive primary care with ongoing support for your long-term health.

General Questions
-
No, a membership does not replace your insurance. While DPC provides comprehensive primary care with unlimited visits, longer appointments, and direct access to your physician, it does not cover specialist visits, hospitalizations, emergency care, or major medical expenses.
Patients are encouraged to have health insurance, like a PPO or high-deductible health plan to cover unexpected medical costs outside of primary care and referrals.
We recommend against HMO plans with our membership, which can make referrals challenging.
-
Unlike traditional models, DPC removes the middle man of third-party billing. You get more time with your doctor, transparent pricing, and a focus on relationship-based care.
-
Members enjoy unlimited unrushed visits, same-day or next-day appointments, direct communication with their physician, and transparent, affordable pricing — all in a relaxed and personalized setting.
-
Both models offer personalized, membership-based care, but DPC is generally more affordable and insurance-free. DPC charges a flat monthly fee with no insurance billing, while concierge medicine typically has higher fees and still bills insurance.
-
Yes, but only for short-term use. Controlled substances-such as certain sleep aids, anxiety medications, or pain medications-can be helpful in specific situations, but they carry risks when used long-term. My goal is to provide safe, evidence-based care, so I focus on treatments that support your health and well-being over time. When needed, I’m happy to explore safer alternatives or provide referrals to pain specialists.
-
